Rob Cook

Rob Cook is the Senior Pastor Mt. Hope United Methodist Church in Lansing, MI.

Mt. Hope UMC is in the heart of the city of Lansing. Congregants come from the neighborhoods and suburbs and also from communities nearby and countries far away. They claim that there are, “No perfect people here!” But with God’s help they are transforming their corner of the world by following the teaching of Jesus and helping each other live a life that reflects his values.

They are a global faith community right here in the heart of Lansing.

Rob Cook grew up in DeWitt, MI. Rob has been in ministry for 15 years years and has a passion for helping people, promoting social justice, improving the community. U of M fan (don’t hold that against him).

Eric Mulanda

Eric Mulanda, Associate Pastor of Children, Youth and Families for Mt. Hope, UMC, Lansing, MIEric Mulanda Nduwa is from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), a country that was formerly known as Zaire. He is married to Corinne Mafo who is also a Congolese and a nurse by profession. They have two boys name Blessed Mulanda and Jossiah Mulanda. Eric is an ambassador of Jesus Christ and is driven through this scripture from the book of Acts 1:8 “to go and be witnesses…to the end of the Earth.” So, he will continue witnessing Jesus Christ in this world.  

Eric Mulanda serves as an associate pastor at Mount Hope United Methodist which is a multi-ethnic Church (http://www.mounthopeumc.org) where they welcome people around the world. Mount Hope is a church that is growing younger and more diverse in the Michigan Area.  Eric has been serving as an ambassador of Jesus Christ reaching people in the community and beyond the community for Jesus Christ in different countries such as Congo-Kinshasa, Zimbabwe, Germany and United State.
